The information on a death certificate is not primary for for birth information since anyone who was present at the birth is most likely not the informant-e.g. mother/father. The census information was most likely given by a parent who would know where his/her children were born. If the family moved here shortly after the first two were born, the children might not have known they were born somewhere else or their spouses or children might not have known.
