The Michigan Death Index at Ancestry is not necessarily incorrect. You wouldn't find a death certificate with the city of Dearborn. All death certificates are at the County level (Wayne County) or at the state level.

The index on ancestry doesn't have as much detail as the index on family search, which shows the actual certificate number...
