When you look at Steve Morse site, St. Paul street is still there in 1900s. Numbers run from 7000 in the area of Sheridan, Townsend, Baldwin. I remember St. Paul Street still being there in the 1960s. If you are looking for lower house numbers more than likely the run toward the Detroit River with the higher numbers running toward 8 mile road on the East Side. What you need is to look into one of the City Directories that have a map either in the front or back to locate the street you are looking for or if you live in the City or near a library in Michigan seek out an older map to help you out.
