There is a separate list with the key to the ages and places.

3=days. 305 means the child was 5 days old at time of death.

The indexes for 1934-1939 and 1940-1944 are incomplete. The 1934-39 only goes up to Tillis and 1940-44 only goes up to Preston. I contacted the Burton and was told that they will be correcting it.
