I am seeking information on the Sinclair family of Ann Arbor. The eldest was John Sinclair, who was born in Ireland in 1783 and died in Dixboro in 1845. He was married to Catherine Allen. His son William M. Sinclair owned the Sinclair Mill in Ann Arbor and prospered. His son Robert P. Sinclair later went to Grand Rapids and served in the Civil War. Thompson Sinclair was probably another son who later went to Grand Rapids, but built the "Robert Frost" house in Ann Arbor in the 1830s before leaving. This house was moved to Greenfield Village by Henry Ford. I live in John Sinclair's house on Pontiac Trail, parts of which date to circa 1830s. Any information concerning this family would be appreciated! I also have information to share if anybody is interested. Thanks!
