While doing genealogical research for another client, I came across the following death certificate, and am posting the transcription here in the event that it might be helpful to others:

Strother Edmond Glass
- Born May 30, 1916 in Kentucky to Florn C. Glass & Stella Gill
- Married Eula M. Harlow
- Resided at 6071 W. Textile Rd, Lodi Twp, Washtenaw County, MI
- Never served in the Armed Forces
- Was retired as a tool crib attendant in auto manufacturing
- SS# 403-14-3257
- Died Sept 18, 1979 at St. Joseph Hospital in Superior Twp, Washtenaw County, MI
- Cause of death was respiratory failure (12 hrs) due to pneumonia (10 days) due to chronic lymphocytic leukemia (5 yrs)
- No autopsy was performed
- Funeral arrangements handled by Wagner-Stark Moore Memorial Chapel in Ypsilanti, Washtenaw County, MI
- Buried on Sept 20, 1979 at Lodi Cemetery in Lodi Twp, Washtenaw County, MI
