Ypsilanti, March 21 (1907)--Luther Parker died March 20 at his home in this city aged 97 years. He was born in Connecticut in 1809 and came to Michigan when a boy overland. He had many interesting stories of pioneer life to tell and kep his health and faculties to the end. He had never been ill until his last illness from grippe. His wife and three children all died years ago. He was the grandfather of Mrs. Minnie C. Parsons. The funeral will be held at Geneva, Ohio.
