This is great information for my sister-in-law and her sons. She is connected directly to Stuhlmanns but has a Godfrey surname. Her kids are least the sixth generation to be born and live in Ann Arbor. Hattie Stuhlmann was her paternal great-grandmother. Matilda was usually called "Tillie" and she was the second wife of Chauncey Stuhlmann, the son of Hattie. They lived in Ypsilanti for many years. Chauncey Stuhlman was brother to Alta Stuhlmann Godfrey. Her spouse was Clyde Bishop Godfrey, Sr. Alta lived in Ann Arbor all her life and died of a brain tumor in 1979.
