My name is Lore and I'm doing research on the Rowert lineage in my family tree. I recently came upon a record showing my great grandmother, Bertha Rowert b. 1872 in Marine City, Sanilac, Michigan, married to a James Wright b 1866, Carsonville, Michigan, on 13 August 1892. Shortly after this listing there is another listing for my grandmother with a marriage date to a Amos Willis on 19 April 1893. No one in the family has ever heard that she may have been married before. Would you know anything about this? Not even sure to check how they may have gotten a divorce. All help appreciated!
