I am seeking information about Gaven and Frances C. Morton who may have lived in Hart, Oceana County, Michigan some time prior to September 19, 1904. I have a copy of estate papers filed through the Michigan Trust Company, pursuant to an order of the Judge of Probate for the County of Oceana regarding land the Mortons owned in Minnesota.

I am trying to find the dates of death (and other pertinent information) for both Gaven and Frances. The family lived in Minnesota throughout the late 1880s, and were enumerated there in the 1900 census. By 1905 the children were living in Kansas and there is no sign of either Gaven or his wife. It appears that Gaven died in Michigan sometime prior to September 19, 1904.

Any suggestions that will help me learn more about this family will be greatly appreciated.
