Was interested because I was born and raised on Ransom St. and remember the name Alting. However, I have no recall other than that.

Did find a Gertije Alting - F - born Aug 28, 1868 to Jeno & Gertije A. Alting - in the Muskegon County birth record - Book 1, 1867-1875.

And also, Martin Allting, Contractor, residing at 65 Ransom St. - and Albert Allting, Clerk, residing at 152 Pine St., in the 1918 Muskegon City Directory.
