The Methodist Church was first organized in Nov. of 1845. There is a deed written in June 1945 from Peter Gillet but it wasn't recorded until 1852. On March 29th, 1852 church members formed a corporation called the Warren Union Cemetery Association. Up until 1904, both the WUCA and St. Paul's purchased property for the cemetery.
I found an M. Wills on the 1916 Warren Twp. plat map from the 1916 Standard Atlas of Macomb County Michigan. the property would have been located on what is now Thirteen Mile Rd., 1 lot east of what is now Ryan Rd., the NW corner of section 8. It shows M. Wills owned 60 acres and the home was located on Thirteen Mile Rd. at the west side of the property.
