THANK YOU FOR YOUR PROMPT REPLY! ADRONIRAM HAS TO BE RELATED SOMEHOW TO JR & SR. HE WAS BORN IN IA BUT WHERE IS THE QUESTION. HE APPEARED ON THE MI CENSUS REPORTS ABOUT THE SAME TIME AS THE OTHER PRINDLES. THEY MOVED THERE AFTER THE CIVIL WAR FROM IA. WHY THEY MOVED TO MI IS ANOTHER UNANSWERED QUESTION!
HE IS NOT LISTED ON DANIEL JR'S CENSUS REPORTS. HE CERTAINLY WAS BORN ABOUT THE RIGHT TIME FOR JR AND CYRENA WERE MARRIED IN 1856. MORE EVER, WHAT ARE THE ODDS THAT THERE WERE TWO CYRENA SYRENA YEOMAN'S WHO M TWO DIFFERENT DANIEL PRINDLES? WAS HE GIVEN TO ANOTHER COUPLE AFTER BIRTH AND WAS LISTED UNDER A DIFFERENT NAME?? I'VE LISTED THE COUPLE AS HIS PARENTS ON ANCESTRY TREE, AND THEN DELETED HIM. WELL, AS A LEAP OF FAITH, I'M GOING TO ADD HIM AGAIN.

He was surely the son of Daniel and Serina. The census taker in 1870 made an error showing him as female instead of male. This is a VERY common error. I'm 99% sure he was born in English River Township, Washington County, Iowa. He was likely born in 1857, & Serina may have been pregnant with him at the time the 1856 IA census was taken. If I come across them in 1860, I'll post it. You might try to find when/where the other siblings died, and try to find obituaries for them. May provide more info.
Alma married John Joyce and died in the 1920s in Ashland Co. WI.

OK - found Cyrena Prindle's 1911 Death Cert @ Seeking Michigan - the informant was A. J. Prindle 524 Lincoln.

Must be Adoniram for the odds being two couples with the same name in a small farming community must sky high. The next oldest child is Alma born abt 1863. Another thing is he/she is listed as female. The two previous items had thrown me off before now.

If so, the all the names are incorrect except Daniel's and has thrown me off before now. However, the ages are all abt right.
As for the 1860 census, I've haven't be able to find the couple listed. Unless, of course, he did a non-population, but that should have come up as a hit. I don"t know the answer....More mysteries.
