Sorry for the long delay in responding. I somehow missed the notification of your post. Anyway, it appears that Samuel (b. 1843) was the son of Samuel and Sarah J. In the 1870 census, the parents are living next to Samuel Jr. and his wife Mina (Elmina) and their children. (In 1860, Samuel Sr. and family are living next to Zebulon Montgomery Drew - father of Elmina.) I believe the Sr. Lyons is buried in Harger Cemetery in Livingston Co. (although the transcription online says his birth year is 1827 which conflicts with the census returns); Zebulon Drew is also buried in Harger cemetery. Elmina's mother was Lucy Sheldon (1813-1851). I don't know where Lucy was buried, but assume it was in Livingston Co. since they were living out there when she died. If you should come across her place of burial, I'd appreciate you letting me know. I have more on the Drew line, but won't go into more detail until I hear from you. After all this time, you may have done a lot of your own research which I would just be duplicating here. Again, sorry for the delay. I have very little information on Samuel and Elmina's family. Would you share what you have on this line with us?
