Hi everyone,
I have a relative who was placed in the Michigan Home Training School in Lapeer in 1933 as a young boy, and died there at age 16 (in 1939) from tuberculosis according to the death certificate. I know this facility is no longer open, but does anyone know if the records survived? I would be interested in finding any admissions records, treatments, pictures, etc. and am not sure where to turn for this.
