Would like to find and share information with descendants of Joseph Crocker EWERS who settled in Bunker Hill Township of Ingham County around 1845. His first wife was Eunice Livermore, and their surviving children were Frank, Eliza, and James. Frank EWERS married Laura HICKS,daughter of Ambrose HICKS,and moved to Colorado. Eliza EWERS married William A. HAVENS, and moved to Kansas. James EWERS moved to Colorado where he married Belle COZAD. Joseph C. EWERS married second Adelia (HARFORD) ROSE, widow of Peter ROSE. Their children were Annetta (Nettie), Edwin, Eva, and Ervin. Nettie married David CARL, Edwin married Ella SHAW, Eva married Charles SHAW, and Ervin married Agnes HEENEY (they were my great grandparents). Charles and Ella SHAW were the children of Orrin and Lucy SHAW.
Joseph C. Ewers' second wife, Adelia, had a daughter named Adella ROSE (b. abt. 1858) with her first husband, Peter ROSE. I've found no trace of Adella after the 1870 census, and very much want to find out what happened to her.
Nettie EWERS and her husband David CARL had two daughters named Nina and Edna, and I would like to find out if they married and had children.
Edwin EWERS and his wife Ella SHAW had a son named Paul and a daughter named Flossie, and I would like to find their children.
Eva EWERS and her husband Charles SHAW had children named Floyd, Iva, Eunice, and Orville. Iva married a CLICKER and had children named Lenore, Geraldine, Betty, Lawton, and Theodore. I would like to find them or their children.
I have lots of information on the ancestors of the EWERS and HARFORD families that I would love to share.
