Hi, Darlene! Good to hear from a relative. I've turned up a lot of information on the Budds and Budd Lake since I posted that message several years back. Your Frank (an older brother of my great-great-grandfather Fred R. Budd) actually came to the Harrison area from Ohio with his parents, William and Julia, and siblings after Budd Lake had already been named by/for one of his uncles. Both Richard Budd and Isaac Budd were in Clare County before William followed them out.
