Unfortunately, it was an impromptu trip for the funeral of my aunt, grandchild of John and Mary (Underwood) Mench, who was a mere 58 days shy of her 90th birthday.

I wasn't aware there is a Mensch house still in existence in the area. How wonderful. Chuck, do you know which family group the house belonged to? Was it Christian and Catharine? Would it be possible for you to take a picture and email or snail mail it to me? I'll email you directly with my current address.

My brother and I were able to locate several gravesites besides those of Christian and Catharine Mensch at the Fisher Cemetery that we didn't know existed. It was a very productive few hours in deed. Since 2001, I have been able to connect Mensch siblings to FISHER and CHAMPION families who are also interred there.

One more question; I'm still looking for the gravesites for Abraham and Elizabeth (Van Vliet) Mensch, is there another Pioneer Cemetery closeby where they might be interred?
