I am searching for descendants of Robert A. McDonald, an early settler in Douglas, Allegan Co, MI. He married first Cordelia Vradenburg and second Minerva Whipple. His children were Henry A. McDonald (b 1850, m Abigail Williams), Ann/Abigail b 1852, and Esther (b 1855, m Henry Logan).

Henry's children were born 1873 to 1891: Ruby (m William R. Takken), Robert, Roy, Bertha (m J.P. Jacobson), Archie, Gladys, and Esther.

Robert also had a brother Bela McDonald who married Catherine Updike and moved to IN and IA.

Robert's mother was Nancy Brown McDonald, the sister of my direct ancestor Mary Brown. She married second in Allegan Co William Scoville. I am hoping to pinpoint the location in VT or NY where the Browns resided.
