I don't know much about Rayburn or Raeburn Harris. He and my mother were cousins. I knew his sisters better. Rayburn's father, Ralph Harris, was a brother to my maternal grandmother, Hazel Marie Harris Parks Grimsley. I know that Dorothy Syers was his second wife and had no children with her. I am in contact with Dorothy's daughter by her first marriage. I really don't know if Rayburn had any children with his first wife but I don't recall anyone mentioning his having had any.
