Thanks for writing, it helps me with locations & distances in MA and RI. Piecing together the right local news clippings might help figure out which Mary Kelley was the cousin George M visited... I keep hoping somebody will have more information to determine the correct Mary, or know her age or address, maiden name, husband's name or marital status.

Some day I hope to start a web page just for George M's cousins to exchange information. I've had emails from so many people, with family stories that they are related to him, but so far most of them are not sure just how they are related to him. A few know how they are related to his sister's in-laws or to one of his wives.

My gggreat grandmother was Mary Scott Regan, sister of Jane Scott Cohan, George M's grandmother. We do not know if Mary Scott or her husband James / Daniel Regan ever emigrated from Inchigeelagh, Co. Cork, just that their daughter Margaret Regan Mahoney did, to northern IL, in the 1880's. My grandmother Margaret Mahoney was born ca. Dec. 1879, about 1 1/2 years after her cousin George M.
