This is a puzzling development... From papers from Guy Vining, this info. was gained: William was a member of the First Congregational Church in Sutton, Mass. and occupied the 6th seat on 20 Dec. 1731. I have deeds showing that William Vining bought and sold land in that area at that time. The church records also indicate that Anna Vining was given a letter of dismissal in 1740. It is possible that this was the time frame that they left Mass. to move to N.C. I wonder why you can find no record of him?
