Yes, your James & Althea (POOLE) HERSEY are mentioned in the book. It mentions his Revolutionary War service.

What it has on Althea POOLE: He married at Abington 11 October 1781 Althea POOLE, who was born at Minot, Maine 13 September 1761 (12 Dec. 1758??) and died at the age of 84. In the 1790's the family removed to the northwest territory of the Massachusetts Bay Colony, which later was to become Maine, and settled in Paris or Minot and Sumner.

It does not bring Anna's line forward, here it was it says about her:
Anna, b. Poland, Maine 3 July, 1791; m. Mescach KEENE, who hung himself in the barn 4 March 1852.

I have an Alethea POOL, b. 23 Mar 1774, Abington, Mass., daug, of Jacob & Rachel (BEAL) POOL, m. Seth HARDIN. She was my 3rd Great Grandmother.
