Thank you for the confirm, from the NEHGS. This backs up what we have also been told and have discovered, too, via the LDS site and google searching. Alfred Lester and Georgianna Quilhot are my ggrandparents. Guy Lester is my grandfather and had moved to Jersey City, NJ in the ~1920's. He never looked back until much later in life. Hence one of my quests to find LESTER decended family in Pittsfield. My aunt did have some contact with a Dotty Newton, but Dotty has now passed on. Than you for your LESTER insight, fsk
