I am actually a Crippen as was my grandfather, we got the Crippen name from my grandfather's stepdad. His real last name is Sterling. His father would have been Sheriff in Princess Anne or he held some type of office in Law. My grandfather is mixed because of this. His mother was black and his dad was white. Don't know the relationship behind this union. Just wanted to know if I could find out any information. I wasn't going to search but its all part of my heritage. So I'll see what happens.
