My G GF Emmett W. Dixon, b. abt 1853 in GA was in Coffee Co., AL 1880 and married to Debonn ?.
They moved to Geneva Co., AL and she probably died abt 1883 as Emmett remairred later on.
I have been trying to determine her maiden name but no luck as yet. I do know she was b. in AL abt 1856.
Your post is the first I have seen in ref to the name.
