Researching Charles and Lucy Atwell that lived in Allegany County MD. They started in Frostburg according to the 1900 census and then moved to Cumberland where they stayed.
Lucy B. was a Jackson from Jefferson Co. WV, born around 1871. Charles was born around 1847 in VA or WV. They married in Jefferson Co, WV in 1885.
There children were Clarence born abt. 1890 in VA, Virgie born abt 1893 in WV, Minnie born abt 1893 in WV and Russell born abt 1902 in MD.
I believe Clarence and Russell stayed in the Cumberland area. I'm not sure about the girls.
Lucy died in July 1927 and Charles died in Dec 1928.
