According to Stackpole's Old Kittery and her Families, "David Hutchins lived at Spruce Creek in 1698. He married Mary, dau. of Peter Lewis, senior. Was killed by Indians 19 Sept. 1708. Adm. of estate, guardian to son John 7 July 1719. He may have had a daughter Mary, who m. Joseph Young in 1701."
