my granny is agnes bailey wyman, she is the grandaughter of john and marie. i was always told they came from spain not portugal..her mother is lena vince bailey. not sure abouit the spain thing. was also told they came over as i believe indentured (sp?) servants.. to work on the sugar cane plantation at shadyside plantation. one of the children worked as a blacksmith on the plantation. would love to know if you know any more info.. thanks.
