I may have Chitimacha bloodline. My 3rd. Grt. Grandmother
was Julia/Judith Dauphine. Supposedly she was the daughter of a Chitimacha and a light skinned Mulatto. She is buried at the Tarkington Cemetery (defunct) which is under the present Methodist Church in Franklin,La. I also have ties from Verdunville to Charenton.
