Our family has been researching this issue for more than over 20 years. We have so much documentation to prove that the Paul family was located on the Reservation. My Great grandmother, Mary Della Iris Carter and her brother John Milton Carter both attend the Carliste Indian School in Pennslyvania. The older sister Translyvania married a Darden. I have all the documentation. Mary Delord Falcon, married to John Thomas Carter, are their parents. So in other words, Leonise Zulmee Falcon are sisters and their parents are Jean Falcon (French) and Catherine Paul (Chitimacha). Catherine is the sister of Chief Benjamin Paul.

I have a handwritten copy of 1903 census from the reservation that states they lived there at that time. After Mary Falcon passed in 1901, John Thomas Carter married Leonise Zulmee and raised the 3 children. I also have a copy of a court document from around 1920 stating ownership of land that belonged to Mary Falcon, but never think that issue was ever resolved.

There are many questions that has risen over the years and I even sent all documentation to the Tribe and they denied everything. Mary Della Iris Carter's two daughters are still alive and after all these years I just want to give grandmother some closure.
