Can anyone offer any information as to who this man is? I know that he signed an affidavit as an heir to the remainder of Mary Lamberth's, widow of James Holly Lamberth, Confederate widow's pension in 1915. Mary had one son who was deceased at that time, so I am thinking that Charley Layton may have been his son, but have nothing to substantiate that. Any help appreciated.
