My G Grandfather Eugene LEROY immigrated from Bordeaux, France to New Orleans in the 1860s. He married Theresa Duvernois BURTON there in 1869. They had a daugther die at birth in 1870, then my grandmother Marie Eugenie LeRoy, in 1873. He owned a large, profitable plantation besides being the owner and operator of the Mississippi River Boat, "The Creole." Would anyone be able to find this family in the 1870 or 1880 census. Any help appreciated.
