My grandma was born i1925 in Shreveport , Louisiana . She never really talked about her past. We never new her parents name or anything. She did claim to be an only child. Her birth name Bernice Bernadette Bass.
I know from social security office she changed her last name to Evett in 1950. She died with the last name Puisis. And this is from a 1971 marriage to Walter Valientine Puisis, which she divorced 5 months later. And didn't change her name until 1973. My mom and uncle never knew there dad, but my grandma used his name as well ( Swader) . I also have a few dog license and fishing license with Hodges as the last name. If any one has any ideas so I can find her parents, please let me know. Thank you
