I am looking for both the Quickel and the McCurdy sides of my family. My Margaret Quickel was born about 1810 in PA ( from census ) and her parents were also born in PA (from census) I assume they were from York co. My Charles McCurdy was born about 1810 in PA as were both his parents. Cyrus and Margaret ( Quickel) Mccurdy lived in Dauphin Co. , PA , in 1840. Their children were named; Anna, Cyrus, Eliza, Charles, Margaret, Jefferson, and Theodore. They moved to Illinois in 1850. Their son, Charles McCurdy was killed in the Battle of Memphis, Civil War. Please can anyone help me with either the Mccurdy or the Quickel sides? I have a good deal of information to share on the families from the union of these two okd PA families. I am just missing Cyrus and margaret's parents and siblings.
