Firstly, can anyone provide the name and/or location of the Yates Cemetery located on top of a mountain in Goody, Pike County, KY. I want very much too return to visit and pay repsects to my grandparents buried there in 1950s and 1960s when I was a child. I know only that this cemetery is within 20-30 minutes from the Williamson bridge that leads into KY and that there was a lone house at the bottom of the mountain. I didn't get my bearings as a child for it was a driving rain both times I was there and visibility was nil.

Wish to provide an updated email address for myself to provide contact with anyone searching Amos Yates m (1) Martha McCoy 03-29-1888 (daughter of Allen McCoy & Elizabeth Blankenship), and (2) Roxie (unknown last name), listed in 1910 Census with Amos.

Also searching Amos Yates's son, my granddad James (Jim) Yates and my father Landon Yates's younger years (b 1921 Pike Co) son of Jim Yates & Lonna Belle Gibson.

Thirdly, researching my stepmother Juanita Henrietta Lawson Yates known to be from Williamson WV before marrying Dad 35 years ago.

Would very much appreciate anyone who may be related to me contacting me . . . . or anyone who can provide ANYTHING. Amos Yates is my brick-wall finding no record of his birth in Buchanan Co VA as he states on his marriage record. Also, his name has been listed on documents as Gates but this is incorrect. Any parents' or siblings' names would be a Godsend.
