My distant connection is the marriage of Jane to Jobe Clifton he was born after 1820 in Lusby Mill, Owen County, Kentucky. He died before December 21, 1846 in Lusby Mill, Owen County, Kentucky. After his death his son Wyatt went to live with his grandparents, Richard and Sally Bennett. Last records found on Wyatt was the 1860 census. Richard was found living with his mother in 1850. She had remarried and her new husband was Joshawia Layton. No other records on this family have been located.
