Would you have any connection to Elizabeth Wilson of Thompkinsville in 1870 census with grandson, John H(Howard) Strode, age 7, living with her? He was born 10 Feb 1863 at Mesheck Creek, Monroe, KY and was orphaned, but have no details on his parents. Possibly had a brother or uncle name Hugh or Hulet who went to Peck, Idaho to visit several times..

In 1880 census he was living with Robert McMurtry.

John md Lydia Ann Tumelson abt 12 Oct 1886 possibly in Yale, Jasper, Illinois or Cedar Vale, Chautauqua, Kansas. Most likely md in Kansas as first two children born there and the other 4 were born in Cedar Vale, Chautauqua, Kansas.

John and Lydia Strode are buried in Clark county, Washington.

Any help regarding relationship between Wilson, Strode & McMurtrey would be most helpful.
