Searching for info on the Crews Family that ran a ferry up and down the Rockcastle River.The Inn/Tavern was located somewhere on the Laurel Co side.Across from Rockcastle Co.
The best I can figure the ferry was in use during the Civil war,it was a place for people to stop and rest, eat,etc.Can anyone out there share info on it.Where exactly it was located, who exactly ran it,when it was in operation, and when did it finally subside.Would appreciate any info.
