GREENUP — Glendale "Jingles" Holbert, 71, of Load, went to be with the Lord on Friday, Nov. 18, 2011, at his home.

He was born in Pickaway, Ohio on Nov. 16, 1940, a son of the late Jasper and Polly Jane Dingus Holbert.

He was a member of the Load Enterprise Baptist Church and an Army veteran of the Vietnam War.

He is survived by his wife, Mary M. Marshall Holbert of Load; five daughters, Roxanne Kegley and her husband, Paul, of Warnock, Mary Louise Brewer and her husband, William, of Cincinnati, Ohio, Linda Sue White and her husband, Bill, of Campton, Bridget Grant Seagraves and her husband, Kevin, of Load and Ivory Marie Hartman and her husband, Stephen, of Olive Hill; two sisters, Marion Gail Pack of Load and Carrie Lieurance of Wilmington, Ohio; 12 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday, Nov. 21, 2011, at the Greenup Wesleyan Church by Brother Larry Bays. Burial will follow in the Marshall Cemetery in Load.

Viewing will be at 6 p.m. today, Nov. 20, 2011, at the church.

His Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.

Military graveside rites will be conducted by the South Shore American Legion.

Wright's Funeral Home in Greenup is in charge of arrangements.
