Mr. Adrian Bruce Lobb, son of the late Everett Lee Lobb and Minnie Irene Biggs Lobb, was born 26 Feb 1922 in Green Co. and departed this life 7 Nov 1922 in Green Co. and departed this life 7 Nov 1983 at the Jane Todd Crawford Memorial Hospital in 5:15 pm. He was 61 years, 8 months and 12 days of age. Mr. Lobb had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Greensburg Church of Christ. He was the owner and operator of Lobb’s Cabinet Shop for 25 years and was a veteran of WWII. He was a member of the American Legion, the Chamber of Commerce, a Ky. Colonel, and he worked with 4-H and FFA groups. Mr. Lobb was united in marriage on 26 Jan 1946 to Beatrice Curry, who survives. To this union were born 2 daughters: Mrs. Malcolm “Connie” Kessler and Mrs. Harry “Brenda” Kessler, both of Greensburg, Ky. He is also survived by 1 brother and 3 sisters: Mrs. Goldie Compton, Frankton, Ind., Mrs. Sylvia Eubank, Danville, Ky., Mrs. Helen Whitlock, Greensburg, Ky. and Luried Lobb, Campbellsville, Ky. Three grandchildren survive: Bruce Kessler, Bryan Kessler and Amy Kessler, all of Greensburg, Ky. One step-grandchild survives, Richie Kessler, Greensburg, Ky. A host of other relatives and friends also survive. The remains were at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home where funeral services were conducted at 2:00 pm Wed. 9 Nov 1983 with burial in Campbellsville Memorial Gardens. Rev. Harold Underwood and Rev. Leo Curry officiated. Active pallbearers were Olen Davenport, Johnny Beard, Earl Clark, James Perkins, Dennis Coakley and Ralph Lobb. Honorary pallbearers were Thomas Hudson, George O. Burris, Leroy Bishop, Jim Bloyd, E.J. Milby, Woodrow McKinney, Tolbert “Bush” Bardin, Earl Wright, Herman Kessler, Finis Durrett, Wilson Cox, Charlie Hibbard, Oather Strader, Lee Eastridge, Ralph Tucker, Gordon K. Durham, Henry Kessler, Blaine Harris, Lenn Pruitt, H.B. Caven and Bill Lobb.
