You have NOT posted any information about a Nancy SCOTT. Rather, you have posted purported dates of birth and death of a Nancy COE shown by some to be interred at a Coe Family Cemetery in Monroe County. However no one seems to have a photo of the grave marker and there seems to be no evidence whatsoever that John COE ever married a Nancy SCOTT.

It appears most likely that someone simply MADE THIS UP. Finding that someone has posted an assertion as to the maiden name of a person at Find A Grave is NOT evidence of the assertion. Publication of the allegation is also NOT EVIDENCE of the relationship.

It is certainly true that John COE is enumerated residing in the 1850 Census residing with a Nancy COE. Each are shown to be age 65 and born in North Carolina.
