I am the 2nd Great grandson of Perk and Amanda Elliott. I have always been told that Amanda was half cherokee indian and had a sister. Both married their husbands, who were brothers, under an arrangement that they would do whatever the husbands told them to do because during the time, it was shameful for people to be of mixed race. I don't know about Sarah, but as far as Amanda goes, I can tell you that both she and her husband are buried at the Valley Oak Cemetery in Casey County, Kentucky. I have heard that there was a Buchanan family cemetery somewhere near the Buchanan property in Pulaski County that was destroyed by renovation, but I couldn't possibly tell you where it is located. This is what I have always heard. My grandfather use to tell me many stories about his Elliott Grandparents, and it seems that time done away with the marriage arrangement and both loved one another dearly. They had several children, including my Great Grandmother. I don't live far from the property they owned, and my Grandmother still lives on the property. Hope this information helps.
