Sorry - I just now saw your posting.

I descend from Pleasants Woodward, son of Christopher Woodward of Johnston/Wake Co, NC, previously from Nansemond Co, VA. Pleasants was a brother of Richard Woodward who moved to NE Robertson Co, TN on the Red River at the TN/KY line. Pleasants and Richard also had a brother James Woodward who moved to Logan Co, KY on the Red River near the TN/KY line at about the same time. So even though they lived in different counties and even different states, James and Richard didn't live far apart.

Several of us have been researching Richard and James. We now have Richard's will written 1739 Robertson Co, TN which names several children including sons Edward and Green. We haven't found any proof of James's children, but we have leads on three possible daughters.
