This is my line and I'd like more info on father of John b 1815. Family info passed down to me only goes back as far as John Romans (1815-1896) married to Polly Porter Gose (1818-1898). Their daughter Elizabeth "Lizzie" Romans (1838-1909) married George A. Coil (1824-1879). George & Elizabeth's daughter Lutie Gose Coil (1867-1908) was my great grandmother, married to Edward Willis Johnson (1865-1953). One note in my family records says my grandfather Elmer Lynn Johnson (1895-1940) remembered his grandmother Lizzie Romans Coil riding through the fields with a hoe and reaching down to chop weeds after she was sixty.
