I understand you mean Edward Hambleton was her father. Way too many Brickeys today :-) I meant Letitia's date of birth. The 1900 census shows Aug 1830 and 1831. From her age, 69, and the census enumerated 12 Jun, she hadn't had her birthday yet and would be turning 70 that year. It should have said 68 if she was born in 1831. Splitting hairs, I know, but I was hoping for the actual death certificate information, with the informant, actual birthdate, etc. That is what I meant. I should know by now it makes no difference, I have had one date from a WWI draft card reg., one from the stone and another from the obit for the same man. I had one son make his dad 10 years older than he actually was so I ignored the death certificate and went with the census info as it, surprisingly, was consistent.
