This is a long shot. Looking for kin of a John "Jack" BRYANT born circa early to mid 1840's and thought to be of Braethitt Co. He married a Clorissa BAKER ( who was in 1850 census with her parents Isaac BAKER) # 329-329). Isaac BAKER is known to have lived in both Cane Creek and Elkatawa (seems like maybe they are the same place or close) These Bakers later went to the Poweel/Estill Co, KY area. Jack BRYANT was "lynched" from the POWELL Co., KY jail about 1870. Any leads appreciated. They had a son named Fred. i was told he ended up in the Lexington area.
