Do you know which Rosses (any first names?) and about when it was last made to the best of your knowledge? Sorghum is the plant, and molasses is the product made from it. My mom (b. 1924) was a Ross, and her family grew Sorghum and made molasses through her childhood. I don't know exactly where since this was somewhat of a joint venture within the large extended family. I remember seeing sorghum processed (mule-powered) in Boyd Co. more than a couple of times when I was a kid. I don't know if it was by family or friends except one year when it was on a farm neighboring a great-uncle who grew sorghum well north of Durbin. I hope someone replies with better info than I have. (No better molasses made anywhere else!)
