Does anyone have family history on the Andrew and George BAKER mentioned in connection to the fort ? Also a TOWNSEND is mentioned. Trying to see if these two sur names are connected to the BAKER and TOWNSEND families who were at Boonesborough. The two BAKER men would be the right age to be the sons of Andrew and Mollie (BOLLING) BAKER of Grayson Co., VA. George and Andy both served in REV WAR, and George was one of the famous Long Hunters.
