Our Twitty's came from Barren County KT. John G. Twitty born in 1823, married Elizabeth C. Kendall. We are not sure who his father was, but there were other John Twitty's from Barren County. John and Jane or John and Jenny Twitty married 9/29/1799 in Barren County KT. We note a John and Jane Twitty in the 1800 census with a son Francis.
Our John G. Twitty kept returning to Barren County KT and a number of his children were born there. John F. Twitty, Sarah J. Twitty, George Ann, Ida and James were from KT. Any information would be appreciated!
